Part 1: Filigree Rings

第1章：金銀線細工指輪

Filigree rings are created by weaving strands of precious metal (silver, gold or platinum) around a Generic Ring Template. Successfully weaving these thin strands of metal requires not only a knowledge of Mechanical Engineering but also a high Agility.

金銀線細工指輪は一般指輪テンプレートに貴金属（銀、金、プラチナ）を織り込み寄り合わせて作られます。上手に金属を薄く寄り合わせて織り込むには機械工学知識だけではなく、高い敏捷性が要求されます。

To create the filigree wire that is needed for this process, a Wire Drawing Machine is used on some liquid metal. This liquid metal is produced by using a Personal Furnace on a small ingot of silver, gold or platinum.

この製法のために必要な金銀線属細工ワイヤーを作るために、ワイヤー引出器になにか溶かした金属を使います。この溶かした金属は、銀、金、プラチナの小さなインゴットを個人用溶鉱炉に使って作られます。

Part 2: Gems and Other Precious Stones

第2章：宝玉と宝石

Using a Jensen Gem Cutter, it is possible to cut and polish certain gems and other precious stones. Doing this will greatly increase their value. Using a gem cutter requires Mechanical Engineering skill and a high Agility.

ジェンセン宝石カッターを使って、宝玉や宝石をカッティングし研磨することができます。こうして、価値を大幅に高めるでしょう。宝石カッターを使うには機械工学技術と高い敏捷性が必要とされます。

The gems that can be cut and polished are also able to be set into filigree rings. Both cut and uncut gems can be set in this way. Setting a gem into a filigree ring will further increase the value of that ring.

さらに、カッティングされて研磨された宝石は金銀線細工指輪にはめ込めます。カッティングされていも、されていなくても同じようにはめ込めます。金銀細工指輪に宝石をはめ込むことにより、さらに指輪の価値を高めるでしょう。

Jensen Gem Cutter ジェンセン宝石カッター

Produced by the Jensen Corporation, this machine is used to cut and polish gems and other precious stones, greatly enhancing their value. Although small in size, it features many of the features found in larger, less mobile gem cutting machines, making it a favorite of itinerant jewellers. This is a tradeskill item.

ジェンセン株式会社によって作られたこの器械は宝玉や宝石をカッティングし、研磨して価値を高めるために使われます。小型ですけど大型のものよりも多くの特色があって、より小さな宝石カッティング器です。旅の宝石商のお気に入りになっています。これはトレードスキル用のアイテムです。

このアイテムはQL10のものしかありません。

Wire Drawing Machine ワイヤー引出器

Used by jewellers, this machine is used to create wire for filigree work. The side of the machine has an input slot into which a Personal Furnace containing liquid metal can be placed. The Personal Furnace is broken down into component parts and recycled for use in the internal power plant of the device. Silver is the most common of the precious metals used for filigree. This is a tradeskill item.

この機械は宝石商が金銀線細工用のワイヤーを作るために使われます。機械の側面には溶かした金属を入れた個人用溶鉱炉を入れられるようなスロットを持っています。個人用溶鉱炉は分解されてこの機器の内部発電用として再利用されます。金銀線細工を作る貴金属には銀がもっとも良く使われます。これはトレードスキルアイテムです。

このアイテムはQL1から200のものがあります。

Precious Metal Reclaimer 貴金属還元器

This machine is used to reclaim various precious metals from such items as jewellery and bracelets. It will produce a small ingot of the main type of precious metal that makes up the piece of jewellery. It features powerful sensors that scan the object to be reclaimed, and will refuse to operate on items that do not have enough precious metal content. This is a tradeskill item.

この機械は宝飾品や腕輪のようなアイテムから様々な貴金属を還元するために使われます。宝飾品に使われている主要な貴金属のインゴットを作り出すでしょう。還元できる物体を走査して十分な貴金属を含んでいないアイテムでは動作しないようになっている強力なセンサーを特徴とします。これはトレードスキルアイテムです。

このアイテムはQL10のものしかありません。

Personal Furnace 個人用溶鉱炉

A small, portable furnace that is commonly used by jewellery, this device melts small ingots of metals and then keeps the metal in liquid form for as long as necessary (given the size of the device, it is only able to be used on small ingots of metal). Fitted with 3 MicroFusion burners, this furnace is able to melt any metal. This is a tradeskill item.

宝石商によって一般に使われる小型持ち運び溶鉱炉。この装置は必要な間、金属を溶かし液体の状態を維持します（装置に収まる小さなインゴットだけが使えます）。3つの超小型融合バーナーが取りつけられ、この溶鉱炉はどんな金属でも溶かせます。これはトレードスキルアイテムです。

Generic Ring Template 一般指輪テンプレート

This item is used in the production of rings. The ring is constructed around this template. Once finished, the template is dissolved, leaving just the ring. This is a tradeskill item.

このアイテムは指輪を作る時に使われます。指輪はこのテンプレートを軸に作られます。一度使われると溶けて指輪の中から無くなります。これはトレードスキルアイテムです。

このアイテムは消耗品です。

宝石や貴金属などは自分で見つけなければなりません。

全ての作業を終えるには対象となる宝石、貴金属のQLの5倍の機械工学スキルと2倍の敏捷性が必要です。
